I'm a guy, a little bit over 30, living somewhere in USA (East Coast) came here some years ago (so please ignore grammar mistakes).

My job and my small hobbies keep me in front of the computer way too much, I am not "addicted" per se, but anyway I recently decided to cut back from the time I spend online, however the Captain just invited me to this new forum and I couldn't say no. I think this might turn up to be a very cool place to hang out since Captain is indeed the coolest Dutchie I know (which doesn't say much because I don't know many ) so after all I might step over my decision to cut down the Internet time.

We'll see how it goes, I like to discuss stuff with people that put some thought in what they write. I like both "light" and "heavy" discussions about everything as long as people are not silly on purpose. I'm not necessary a fan of philosophy and I didn't read enough on the subject (moreover I don't even think I would like to read what's required), but I know enough to have opinions (who doesn't?) or question and to be able to say "hey, did you consider this angle?" so, as long as people over here will stand my personality and they will not poo poo my posts I will stay around.

No poo-ing here Adrian. Good grief no. I have seen enough turd pictures to last me a life time! I don't think anyone who will come in here will tell a thread or thought is nonsense. We're adults here (with some childish behavior SOMETIMES, but you know how that is and there will be a place for that here, which is not on Stage )
