Well, my real name isn't oblio of course.... My name is Ko. I am 64 years old now, have been married for nearly 40 years (yes, to the same wife....:-)), I have 2 grown daughters, 2 grandchildren and I am living in the Netherlands.
One daughter has 2 kids and runs a business with her partner. My youngest daughter lives in Australia. I retired some three years ago from the automotive industry. I don't have any pets at the time (except for the fishes in the pond), but we have had dogs for over 30 years, and probably will again - soon. But not now, as we're leaving next month for some sunny weeks in WA, Ozzieland visiting my daughter and some old friends.

I am not really a philosophical type of guy, more a rather pragmatic, agnostic type of guy. But I do have something like a personal perspective on a lot of things....:-).

I used 'oblio' as nickname in the K/Ubuntu forums.....:-), but I think that it is quite appropriate here too: Oblio is a character from a (1970?) Harry Nilsson album (LP) called "The Point". Oblio lived in a village where everything was pointed, even the heads of all the villagers were pointed. All, that is, except oblio who had a round head. I won't tell the complete story... (Shameless plug: buy the album / videotape / video cd.....!).

But in the end oblio proved his point.......:-)
