Well, I just managed to get a nice deal on a DDR pad. Not high quality, but I can always get a better one if I find I really am getting into it.

There are plenty of videos over on YouTube and Google video on DDR. Some of those guys are like.. whoa.

Well.. I have played it at my dad's. Turned out that my video card wasn't able to do the stuff it needed to do for this game. I have run into that before but this was the first time that I said: oh stuff it, I am getting me a new card.

No use getting a new computer, the other hardware stuff is in fine order and fast enough, just that the card became more and more of a bottleneck.

I forgot to ask the brand, something 1300 *shrug* , the thing costs 99 Euros (not cheap, I know) and is a fine card that should last a-plenty in any case.

Of course the computer guy will put that in the system for me, and I will make sure I get to see the game running before I go home with it


This weekend will be spent doing backups again. Transporting a system is always a bit hrmmm, and besides.. a reformat is on its way anyway, so.. had to do it regardless.


MAN!! That game is not easy. The first few steps go ok, but you have to keep your attention at it, and I also learned to ONLY program the four arrows, not the other four keys around them (although they work, quite fun to scroll through something tapping your foot).

Even my dad thought it was interesting, and a "good game for them fat kids these days!"

hrrmm. your dad is on to something! now to come up with something for those who don't game or dance...like, mozilla with foot control.

Well.. I have a nice new Ati Radeon 1300X Pro card in my system now, and thanks to Adrian *SMOOOOOCH* it works in Linux as well. No direct rendering yet there, but after the install of Simply Mepis 6.0 that will be tackled as well, most likely.

Anyway.. I just played it in Windows and *pant pant* man, that game is FUN! The best time waster I have had in a while and good for the cardio as well So.. I am very pleased indeed!
