I just did.. today *rubs artificial needles out of hair* The tree itself is finally up, man that thing has a bunch of side branches wacko.gif

Of course when I am done (right now there is ONLY a tree, nothing in it yet) it is too late to take a proper picture again, but I will give it a shot regardless and post it here by that time. smile.gif

Update:

not the best quality pic, but it will have to do. If you can't see anything you need to hoist up the brightness of your screen. Oh, and I assure you, my walls are not dirty flourisse/laugh.gif

All I need is an angel to shove on top of that tree. Who remembers the joke on how the angel got on the tree in the first place? flourisse/laugh.gif

Very nice, and don't worry, we like you even if you have dirty walls.

EadwineRose- 12-07-2006
Oh, thanks Adrian! Makes me feel a lot better *giggles*

Oh mind.. I am getting me something to cover the foot too. And with the cat things are going great, besides, it is all artificial. The balls are plastic, so no breakage+hurt kitty feet.

Looks nice. I like the red and gold theme. Gimme a minute and I'll snap a quick pic of mine...

Taken with a 1.3 mp camera pone, so the resolution is a little low. wink.gif

*chuckles* wink.gif

Beautiful tree, very nice!!

That gift idea on the bottom is something I might apply. Wait and see smile.gif Thanks for sharing, I hope the others will share as well. I love seeing the trees from around the world.

Lisa- 12-07-2006
Thanks, those branches sticking down on bottom are the ones the cat always chews on. Even spraying him with water doesn't deter him. flourisse/laugh.gif And the tree skirt won't stay flat since the dog always lays there. It is all temporary, so, wotthehell.

*takes another look* Oh now I see them! Ah.. who cares. A christmas tree is a little like life. What happens every day during the year happens to it in two weeks. flourisse/laugh.gif

Best be careful with the christmas lights btw:

Holiday Decorations Can Create Major Wi-Fi Disturbances

"Survey results highlight wireless interference created by decorations in the office, AirMagnet illustrates how proper planning can resolve"

Of course part of this is marketing, however.. if your wi-fi connection goes apfrt, then it might be an idea to check the lights wink.gif

you're both inspirational. smile.gif
now i have to put my tree up monday! i can stand it no longer!

if i can figure out what's going on with my camera, i may even take pics to post, provided that they come out decently because i put mine in front of the windows.
the boys (kitties) always camp out underneath mine and are likely to be in any pictures.

EadwineRose- 12-07-2006
Good luck Ravenranter! You can do it smile.gif

Wait until sundown to take the photo, then there is no back light. smile.gif

Nice trees! I'll probably put mine up this weekend and will share a pic as soon as possible. biggrin.gif

i had thought of that...
my past experience has been that, after dark it's difficult to see anything other than lights.
maybe i'll try different various exposures and see what seems best...if i can get the camera to behave; i suspect one of the kids dropped it (not that they'll ever admit it, just like when the x box died and we found juice or something in it).

Here's our tree. The lights are colored, but I couldn't get a clear picture that showed the lights. Maybe I should ask Santa for a new digital camera?

We have a hodge podge of ornaments most of them are passed down or handmade by me and my kids.

Very nice, now that I see that you have a camera AND batteries, I'm waiting for that picture with the microwave wink.gif (sorry, inside joke biggrin.gif )
