I was in rather a hurry this morning to get to work on time, so I threw on my gear, grabbed my bag and zoofed off, using the highway instead of the little backroad to get there.

Well.. I made it, and put down my bag, opened it to grab something and then I saw the flap of the section my wallet is in. It was open. Uh oh.. I look inside.. no wallet. Oh shit. No it was not stolen, it was at home in my sewing box, along with my hairing aid batteries. Right where I put it yesterday before going off to the sewing lessons. I was SO glad I had packed lunch, because I wouldn't have been able to buy anything there and would have had to drive home and back again in order to eat.

Biggest issue: getting pulled over. At least I did have my passport in that bag, so I would have been able to identify myself and gotten away with a warning for not having the license. Over here you do have to show it at the police station though, for confirmation and all.

The not having hearing aid batteries would have been more funny. "Uh? What? Come again?"

Thank goodness that did not happen
