My son is 19 and is not in school this semester...in short, he is doing nothing this semester. Anyway, I told him he has to find a job. He has been looking online and found one for housekeeping in an assisted living facility.
He came to me yesterday and asked me if I could take him to the ALF because he was having trouble finding it. I said ok, and we got in the car and drove to the address. It was an office in a shopping strip with the correct name and logo on the sign. My son insisted this was not the place, that there was a picture of it in the paper, and it was a big homelike building. I replied that this office must be an off site office where they take applications. Satisfied with that, we made a U-turn to head home...and there it was. The ALF. Nothing but the foundation and support walls in place, under construction, with the archetect's drawing on a billboard outside! My son said "That is the picture of the building I saw!" as we both realized that the drawing was what was published in the paper! Haha! Storm will not be starting to work there anytime soon!

Yes indeed flourisse/laugh.gif He really doesn't want to go to work at all even though I have cut him off from money. I was a bad mom and, trying to make up for him having a bad Dad, spoiled and overindulged him.
But now he is getting a taste of Mum pushing her little fledgling from the nest. My problem is that he has changed from a little chickadee to a freaking pterodactyl and is screaming and clawing to keep from falling out of the nest! Oh, but that is another issue altogether.
Hopefully he gets a job soon. Like I said, I have stopped giving him any money.

As long as he isn't getting the money free from anyone else you're good! He'll get off his butt soon enough when his little well has run dry.
