The documovie "An Inconvenient Truth", about climate change in the world, will arrive to my neck of the woods this week (at last!) and it´s getting a huge amount of publicity, but I´ve heard no one´s personal opinion on it yet, and since it´s been out elsewhere for awhile, I wanted to know if it´s worth the ten bucks - and also, if I can take along two kiddie pals who are hyped about seeing it because they´re fascinated about natural disasters (one of them is nine, the other seventeen).

Is it serious, is it worthwhile, or are we better off reading a book? Thanks in advance for any input smile.gif

I didn't see it but I have it in queue at Netflix (granted it won't cost me $10). So because I didn't see it I can't tell you if it's worthy or not, but I would think it's interesting to see it. For me is a little bit of preaching to the choir, but I had suprises with documentaries that I thought I knew what are they all about.

As for kiddie pals that are hyped about natural disasters maybe it's a good way to learn about disasters and their effect on people in general and ultimately on them, so they might enjoy it and also get something educational out of it at the same time.... on the other hand it might be just boring.
