"What are the borders for science?

There is a lot of controversy of what science is doing.

examples:
-embryonic stem cells (destroying a life form to create cells)
-patents on life forms (genetic manipulated bacteria)
-cloning
-nanotechnology
-computer control of nervous system
-DNA fingerprints

How far can we go?"

those sound as "border of human morality" not border of science.

Then.. should science keep to that?

On a case by case basis, I think the old "do whatever you please as long as you don't hurt others" still holds.
