when i plan to cook, i go to the refrigerator and grab veggies out of the crisper drawer, grab stuff from the other shelves, grab stuff from the door for dressing or what have you and run off with my hands full. the floor is not level near the refrigerator and i always plan on taking advantage of that, figuring the door will shut itself while my hands are full.
what happens?
*boink* the door doesn't shut because i've left the crisper drawer open - because my hands are full. then, i run back to shut it after i've deposited all the things i've pulled out of the refrigerator, on the counter.
not exactly a time-saving moment.

in fact, i think it adds an extra step to the whole process.
do i learn from this and stop it? no.
