[Sneaks in from behind the shrubbery.]

After ... wandering, and summer break (no 'net access) and myriad other happenings, I figure I should say hi. Again. It has been a while. ...

After D-X went down I haven't really written much online. There was just something about it. And I'm starting to feel that I should start jumping back into the Internet. I mean, even as I'm writing this, I feel myself starting to get back into the groove. And starting to remember stuff. Like Winktoberfest. Wow, that takes me back.

So I see some familiar names here, and I guess I'd better pull up a chair...

...nice to be among familiar names again...

How would that help, I'm already bored with myself....

Well, have you tried a new flavor of jam, jelly, marmalade, or preserves on your breakfast toast? It might help. You'll be surprised the things you can surprise yourself with.

Life here is rather uneventful for the moment, I'm back in college, trying very hard not to get super-senioritis (hooray for fifth-years!, kinda) and ... tying.

And in other news, we had another earthquake last night. 4.2 in the San Bernardino County, but I felt it all the way here in Los Angeles County. (This was at 2 in the morning - I was doing homework - which I barely finished before class. At 3 - PM. ) ohmy.gif But at that far a distance, I just felt the fain-*test*-('") rolling motion, noted the time, and went back to writing on how LBJ's intervention in the Dominican Republic can be explained in terms of economics. flourisse/laugh.gif Anything that feels like less than a ... five, I'll say, you can sleep through. I would've slept through Northridge ('94) if I hadn't been woken up for it.
