As for breaking stuff, nothing.

As for SEVERELY twisting: my ankle, about two years ago. I did that by missing the last step of the stairs and going klaboom.

As for did not wish to stop bleeding: my chin. I fell with my bike and landed right on the side fender of the side walk, chin straight down. I am still amazed I didn't break anything. Instead of stitches the doc chose to make me walk around for two weeks with a white band aid stuck to my chin mad.gif

Anyway, all healed up, left a nice scar.

let's see:

i broke my right middle toe and the next one years ago. i lived in a very old single-family house that, in more modern times, had been renovated into a building containing six apartments. there were lots of these in the town that i was living at the time and they result in strange configurations:i had to pass through my kitchen to reach my bathroom. my kitchen was similar to a galley-style, long and narrow with an odd corner that was jutted out near the bathroom door. one day i was rushing around and getting ready for work and i caught my foot on the corner, which forced one toe to the left and the other toe to the right in a rather abrupt manner...

i broke the metatarsals in my left foot last fall. i thought that i was setting a weight on a bench. really though, i was missing the edge of the bench and just dropping it on my foot because i wasn't paying full attention to what i was doing.

i dislocated and fractured my right big toe last january because i kicked the kitchen trash can during a fit of temper. not smart, i know.

and what they say about sprains being more painful than an actual break, i think it's true... the year before i broke the toes on my right foot, i sprained my left ankle. i was in boston for the fourth of july and got jostled off a curb at a crosswalk, right in front of traffic. in trying to save myself from falling into oncoming traffic, i managed to stay upright, but with a severely sprained ankle in the process. then i had to walk two miles to reach where i had parked the car.
i was black and blue from the top of my foot to my kneecap and it was swollen to an enormous size and ended up being on crutches for two months or so.

my feet are cursed, but from the ankles upward, i'm all good! flourisse/lmao.gif
