I hate auctions, and I don't trust half of the vendors on eBay. That being said, is good to have an option to buy stuff that you'd not find otherwise.

That is why I NEVER use anything besides PayPal, at least then you have some sort of agency in between to get your money back.

Money orders and such one should steer away from unless it is to people one knows. No way to get the money back anymore.

My first ebay thing, a buy it now, arrived at my dad's today, but he wasn't home, so the post office will re-offer it tomorrow. Wait and see.
