Answer the poll and elaborate.

I have a black cat, I purposely walk under ladders unless there is a painter working on it (things dropping wink.gif ), I am not afraid of the boogeyman (at least.. I think not unsure.gif flourisse/laugh.gif )

So.. does the 13th bring bad luck? Not yet for me anyway!

But there are hotels that don't have a room numbered 13, there are hotels that don't have a 13th floor.... Spooky!! flourisse/scared.gif

I don't believe in "luck".

no, the thirteenth has always been good to me. flourisse/laugh.gif
i usually experience a pleasant surprise of some sort: a good buy, a dinner out or some such thing or maybe i just notice it because it's the thirteenth. unsure.gif
i don't think of myself as being superstitious...i'm not afraid to walk under ladders, to open umbrellas indoors, to cross the path of a black cat, or count cracks in the sidewalk and worry about breaking mum's back if i step on one.
on the other hand, my brunies have abandoned every last task around the house these days. maybe i'm in for trouble ahead. blink.gif flourisse/lmao.gif

You do realize that numbering of the days and the day of the week don't have a real meaning, right? This is pretty arbitrary, many cultures have different systems, what's 13 in our system might be 2 in another system and that might be a very lucky number.

Another thing about numbers, Japanese for example have unlucky numbers but those numbers are unlucky because they sound the same like "death" and "sickness", so if Japanese don't like 4 and 9 does it mean that those numbers should be unlucky for people who don't speak Japanese? How about people who learn Japanese, should they be afraid of those numbers too?

I found $100 once on Fri. 13th. Nowadays, they go by and if nobody brings it up, I don't even realize it.
